ACTIVE DEFENSE: TRIDENT PORTFOLIO
Bollinger Capital offers the Trident Portfolio: A tactical approach to portfolio defense engineered to minimize drawdowns while capturing upside potential.

The portfolio is composed of three equally weighted components; an allocation to the S&P 500 via SPY, an allocation to the NASDAQ 100 through QQQ, and an Alternatives sleeve that holds three rotating ETF positions at any given time. Each segment operates under its own distinct risk management framework, with the ability to shift into cash-equivalent assets during periods of elevated market risk. Depending on prevailing market conditions, the portfolio’s exposure may range from fully invested to entirely allocated to cash.
S&P 500:
Risk Control: Price Based
NASDAQ 100:
Risk Control: Market Breadth Based
Alternative Assets: A rules-based relative strength model governs the selection of 3 positions
This is a tactical approach that sells positions during elevated market risk and may generate either short- or long-term taxable gains.
